President of Chickasaw Nation Industries (CNI) Health and Technology Solutions Commends First Lady’s Focus on Helping Babies Impacted by the Opioid Crisis

CNI President, Health and Technology Solutions, Ann Speyer participated in a town hall on the opioid crisis with First Lady Melania Trump this past week.

Speaking to a group of students at Liberty University in Virginia in both her official capacity as First Lady and as a mother, Mrs. Trump talked about the devastating effects of opioids, the importance of removing the stigma that comes with addiction to enable individuals to seek help, and the powerful role that students can play in helping to combat this national crisis.

CNI Acquires Technology Trends Group, LLC

CNI is pleased to announce the acquisition of Technology Trends Group, LLC. TTG specializes in telecommunications support for federal and commercial customers. The TTG team possesses deep expertise in cable plant design, network solutions,  contact centers, 5G networks, and IT project management. This acquisition supports CNI’s 2020 Strategic Plan by building deep expertise in areas of future market growth.

 

Design and Evaluation of a Sensitive, Low Cost and Portable Millimeter Wave Survey Meter

Within CNI’s Civilian Division, the CNI Technical Services, LLC team developed a small, hand-held, portable, low cost, millimeter wave (mmW) meter to detect and display the levels of emissions from L3 ProVision security scanners used in hundreds of airports for detection of contraband and weapons. The meter is intended to measure radiation emissions from this particular scanner and enable the user to enable periodic quality assurance measurements and to see if undesirably high levels were to occur.

CNI Helps Health Departments Across the U.S. Respond to Zika Outbreaks

Since January 2015, nearly 5,700 Zika cases have been reported in the continental United States, and more than 37,000 in U.S. territories. When the Zika virus outbreak hit the U.S., many local health departments across the country did not have the capacity to effectively prevent, detect, respond to, and report Zika outbreaks.

CNI Announces First 5 Commercial Electronic Health Record Products at HIMSS Conference

On March 7, 2018, Chickasaw Health Consulting, LLC joined with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Healthcare Information and Management System Society (HIMSS) to announce the first 5 commercial electronic health record (EHR) software products recognized by the Immunization Integration Program—a Program carried out by Chickasaw Health Consulting and CNI Advantage, LLC over five years under a contract with CDC. HIMSS joined the project as a subcontractor two years ago.
