Employee Spotlight- Jocelyn Townsend

This month, we are proud to spotlight Jocelyn Townsend, who has been with CNI since August 2015. As Assistant Controller in our Finance Department, Jocelyn exemplifies dedication, expertise, and a strong work ethic. She consistently navigates challenges with resilience, always embracing growth and collaboration.

Inspired by her parents’ values of hard work, Jocelyn is committed to continuous improvement. Though frequent changes can be challenging, she approaches each with a positive mindset and a passion for lifelong learning. Her advice to newcomers? “Learn all you can, as it will carry you forward.”

Staying motivated through podcasts and music, Jocelyn takes pride in her career longevity, with CNI being her second-longest role following a 20-year tenure in a previous position. She finds inspiration in the Finance Department’s collaborative spirit, which fosters a culture of growth and knowledge sharing.

Outside of work, Jocelyn holds a pharmacy technician certification and even showcased her creativity in the 1980s by making a church music video. Her journey at CNI is a testament to the power of dedication, adaptability, and continuous learning.
