Employee Spotlight – Zelda Wade

Zelda Wade has been an employee of Technology Trends Group (TTG), a Chickasaw Nation Industries company, since November 2014.  In the seven+ years with TTG, she has worked at the National Museum of African American History & Culture (NMAAHC) and managed scores of IT and museum construction projects. Project management is her work passion but is also giving back and helping others.

Zelda founded two organizations. The first one is LOTUS 50+ (LOVE OF THYSELF UNITED AS SISTERS) started in 2016. Its mission is to educate, support, and empower women of color who experience hardships and challenges in various stages of their lives. The organization connects women domestically and internationally, has 35,000 members, and continues growing.

Lady Trek United & Affiliates was founded in February 2022. Its mission is to educate and bring awareness to young girls and adult women about the benefits of exercise, self-care, and staying fit. Members participate in community walks and other activities which promote wellness and staying active. Currently, the group has approximately 530 members in the state of Maryland and has recently launched a second group in Tennessee. Zelda, you are an inspiration to all!  Thank you!
