CNI Manufacturing Awarded $6.2 million FAA Contract
Chickasaw Nation Industries is pleased to announce that its subsidiary, CNI Manufacturing, has been awarded a $6.2 million contract to provide fabricated metal parts for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
The Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract will require CNI Manufacturing to deliver separate types of fabricated metal parts to be used in NEXCOM equipment racks to be installed at various FAA Air/Ground (A/G) Communications facilities in the National Airspace System.
“We are delighted to receive this opportunity to support the FAA as they upgrade their communications infrastructure,” said Jonna Kirschner, President of CNI Manufacturing. “We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality products and look forward to commencing work on this project.”
CNI Manufacturing was awarded this contract under the HUBZone program, which fuels small business growth in historically underutilized business zones.
“This contract award marks a momentous achievement for both CNI Manufacturing and Chickasaw Nation Industries,” said Kent Foster, CNI Manufacturing’s VP of Operations. “This $6.2 million win is the largest HUBZone contract in the history of CNI and we are proud to bring this opportunity to Marietta and the surrounding community.”
The total duration of this contract is five years if all options are exercised and will begin in August 2021.
