Filtra Systems, LLC awarded FAA Contract
Chickasaw Nation Industries is excited to announce that Filtra Systems, a CNI family company, has been awarded an IDIQ contract with the Federal Aviation Administration.
The $2 million contract includes a one-year base period with a six month option, and will consist of fabricating metal parts to be installed at various FAA air and ground Communications facilities in the Naval Audit Service. Currently, the required fabricated metal parts are not commercially available, and will be manufactured by Filtra Systems to meet FAA specifications.
“Filtra Systems began their quest for this sole source contract with the FAA over 18 months ago; since then it has taken a concerted team effort to deliver this winning proposal.” said David Nimmo, CEO of Chickasaw Nation Industries. “This award was largely due to CNI’s excellent past performance with the FAA, and we look forward to strengthening our relationship through this exciting opportunity with Filtra Systems.”
Work on this contract will commence early in the New Year, with first article production and inspection to take place in January.
