David Nimmo was appointed as a Director of Chickasaw Nation Industries, Inc. (CNI) by Governor Bill Anoatubby in 2025 after his retirement from CNI in March of that year.  Mr. Nimmo served as President/CEO of CNI from February of 2011 until his retirement.  Prior to 2011 he served CNI as its General Counsel.  From 1992 until joining CNI, Mr. Nimmo served the Chickasaw Nation as one of its General Counsels, providing support for its non-gaming businesses, which included the creation of CNI. 

Mr. Nimmo was in the private practice of law in Ada, Oklahoma from 1977 until joining CNI in 2005.  He served the State of Oklahoma as an Associate District Judge in the late 1980s.  He has been married to his high school sweetheart, Carolyn since 1972.  They have two sons, Michael and Matthew, and five grandchildren.

David stays active in retirement by serving on numerous boards, including: the advisory board to the Kansas City Federal Reserve Bank; Cleveland County Economic Development Coalition; Norman Regional Health System; Oklahoma Academy for State Goals; and is the past president of the Norman Chamber of Commerce.
