The Business Project Manager IV serves as the operational lead for the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) VTrckS S/4Hanna migration, ensuring system integration and technical execution align with VTrckS functional and operational requirements.  This role will manage the business-facing project plan and ensure alignment with the SI project plan.  The position will identify, and manage business risks, operational impacts, and cross-functional dependencies affecting deployment readiness.  This position role drives cross-team collaboration and internal CDC stakeholder alignment to ensure functional readiness and seamless deployment of S/4Hanna while supporting PMO business activities, including milestone tracking, reporting, risk management and alignment with established VTrckS oversight processes.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS  

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the required customer clearance for access to systems, facilities, equipment, and property.

  • Must be able to understand and implement project management methodologies and best practices. Proficient in utilizing project management software and tools. Reports to the Sr. Program Manager

  • Experience with S/4Hanna or other ERP applications is required.

  • Knowledge of Organizational Change Management is required.

  • System Integration or Implementation experience is required.

  • Stakeholder Management and Business Process mapping is required.

  • CDC experience is highly preferred.

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  

Essential Duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 

  • Maintains a solid customer relationship and assures customer satisfaction with the successful execution of the project.

  • Interfaces with internal project teams, CDC stakeholders, and technical project team. Maintains timely communication and develops collaborative solutions-oriented approaches.

  • Develops and maintains project plans, deliverables, and work products necessary to guide the execution of business needs. 

  • Manages project plans, objectives, timelines, schedules across multiple work streams, job assignments, responsibilities, and reporting relationships.

  • Sets, manages, and communicates project expectations to team members and stakeholders.

  • Tracks and reports on project milestones and deliverables. Identifies and manages project dependencies and critical path.  Identifies potential risks and develops mitigation and/or contingency plans.

  • Performs overall project management and reporting functions related to multiple activities being performed across multiple task areas.

  • Implements project management best practices, using project management tools and methodologies.

  • Ability to work collaboratively, resolve conflicts, or disagreements in a constructive manner.

  • Ensures that operations are being executed in accordance with CNI policies and processes. Leverages corporate tools and templates where appropriate.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE 

Bachelor's degree and a minimum of seven plus (7+) years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education/experience.   

PHYSICAL DEMANDS 

Work is primarily performed in an office environment. Regularly required to sit. Regularly required use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms to handle objects and operate tools, computer, and/or controls. Required to speak and hear. Occasionally required to stand, walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Exposed to general office noise with computers printers and light traffic.

The estimated pay range for this role is $145K to $150K, with the final offer contingent on location, skillset, and experience.
