The Training Assistant supports the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), Centers for Medicare & Medi-caid Services (CMS) Benefits Coordination and Recovery Center (BCRC). Works closely with the Training Specialist to organize, develop materials, schedule, and implement effective training programs for BCRC work, in addition to assisting with other local site-specific training needs.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to obtain a customer clearance for access to facilities, equipment and property.
Operational knowledge and understanding of Medicare policies and procedures, MSP related systems (i.e., ReMAS, CWF / HIMR, ECRS, HIGLAS and image repositories), and the Benefits Coordination and Recovery System (BCRS) preferred.
Skilled proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.).
Detail-oriented with exceptional organization, analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills with solid presentation and reporting skills.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities as well as to meet specified deadlines.
Ability to use discretion in the handling of confidential or sensitive information.
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential Duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Maintains accurate records of all training activities, including attendance records, evaluation results, and participant feedback. May also update training materials or documentation based on feedback or changes in processes or procedures.
Coordinates logistics for training sessions, including scheduling, venue setup, equipment preparation, and partici-pant registration.
Performs general administrative duties to include data entry with a learning management system, uploading mate-rials to shared sites, helping users and generating reports.
Assists with developing training curricula that align with organizational goals and objectives. Assists with creating comprehensive training plans, outline learning paths, and select appropriate instructional methods and materials.
Communicates with QA and Training Managers, MSP Policy Specialist, and other members of management to identify training needs and update SOPs and work tools.
Learns/Maintains a thorough knowledge of MSP statutes, regulations, computer systems, quality standards, and contract requirements, including primary contract operations in all functional areas of the BCRC. Responsible for timely review and understanding of all applicable updates, alerts, announcements, and other approved notices to ensure trainings are up to date with the most current contract and Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) requirements.
Responsible for adherence to qualitative and quantitative standards as established to meet contractual obligations and changing business requirements.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma and one to three (1-3) years of related experience or combination of education and experience.
Operational knowledge and understanding of Medicare policies and procedures, MSP related systems (i.e., ReMAS, CWF / HIMR, ECRS, HIGLAS and image repositories), and the Benefits Coordination and Recovery System (BCRS) preferred.
Working knowledge of standard quality assurance practices preferred.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Work is primarily performed in an office environment. Regularly required to sit. Regularly required use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms to handle objects and operate tools, computer, and/or controls. Required to speak and hear. Occasionally required to stand, walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Exposed to general office noise with computers printers and light traffic.

The estimated pay range for this role is $20.00 - $26.44, with the final offer contingent on location, skillset, and experience.
