The Technical Lead will be responsible for directing the development team in the design, development, coding, testing, and debugging of applications. They will also provide technical leadership, mentor team members, and ensure the effective delivery of high-quality software solutions. This role requires a blend of advanced technical skills and leadership abilities to guide projects to successful completion.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS  

  • Must possess appropriate level of certifications for this position as required by the contract.  

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the required customer clearance for access to systems, facilities, equipment and property.  

  •   Proven leadership in large-scale software architecture and system design.

  • Advanced knowledge of cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure), CI/CD, and DevOps practices.

  • Strong communication, strategic planning, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Performs advanced coding, debugging, testing, and configuration tasks to develop complex application programs.

  • Leads in-depth analysis of functional and technical requirements to create comprehensive and robust specifications.

  • Utilizes advanced programming, scripting, or database languages to write optimized code, focusing on efficiency and scalability.

  • Conducts thorough unit testing and assists with integration testing, ensuring comprehensive coverage of test cases.

  • Produces advanced documentation, contributing to standards and advising on best practices for process

  • and data flow diagrams.

  • Leads efforts in implementing, enhancing, integrating, and maintaining applications, offering strategic recommendations and troubleshooting complex issues.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE 

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field and a minimum of four to seven (4-7) years relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education / experience.  

PHYSICAL DEMANDS 

Work is primarily performed in an office environment. Regularly required to sit. Regularly required use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms to handle objects and operate tools, computer, and/or controls. Required to speak and hear. Occasionally required to stand, walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.  Exposed to general office noise with computers printers and light traffic.

The estimated pay range for this role is $125K to $140K, with the final offer contingent on location, skillset, and experience.
