The SharePoint Developer will develop and support out-of-the-box & custom SharePoint solutions and can create and configure SharePoint website, find solutions to enhance business activity and customize sites based on the client’s needs. the successful candidate will be responsible for developing SharePoint applications around the core concepts of site / portal standardization, business automation, workflow and process improvement, system/application integration, collaboration, knowledge, and content management

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS  

  • Must possess and maintain a Secret clearance which requires U.S. Citizenship. 

  • Must possess the following certifications: Microsoft Certified Developer certification, CompTIA Security+.

  • Must meet TIER II/ IT II/IAT II level of training and certification.

  • Experience with client-side technologies such as JavaScript, jQuery, CAML, XSLT, Rest API/ Web Services to be able to use the SharePoint client object model (CSOM) to query lists, manipulate list items, create on-demand reports and mashups of data to deliver content that’s easy to understand.

  • Provide SharePoint custom design, workflows out of the box and custom pages.

  • Create templates for ease of use instead of utilizing out of the box template in coordination and approval from Webmaster.

  • Experience implementing solutions using SharePoint content types, lists, columns, web parts, features, page layouts, managed metadata keywords and other enterprise management features to provide collaboration solutions.

  • Hands-on experience integrating SharePoint with the O365 Suite, such as Teams and Planner integration, Power BI reporting, Power Automate Flows, and PowerApps.

  • Experience using InfoPath and SharePoint Designer to develop workflows and data view web parts.

  • Experience with all aspects of SharePoint, including roles, permissions and hierarchy, taxonomy, infrastructure design, metadata and search, and SharePoint services.

  • Experience with out-of-the-box SharePoint capabilities, including hierarchy, permissions, site and list templates, web parts development, workflow and content management.

  • Experience developing PowerShell scripts.

  • Ability to troubleshoot and remediate front end issues.

  • Strong documentation and analytical skills.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).

 

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  

Essential Duties and responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned. 

  •  Provide support for SharePoint applications.

  • Interface directly with stakeholders to develop quality applications and presentations that meet the standards and needs of the application.

  • Offer technical guidance to other team members and assist with developing complex designs.

  • Provide services to support management and ensure maximum effectiveness of resources for the timely completion of projects.

  • Recommend changes to applications, content, and presentations to enhance effectiveness of applications.

  • Offer strategic guidance to client and develop technical design documentation and Level of Efforts (LOEs).

  • Determine priorities and timelines to meet the client's objectives.

  • Provide communication and reports to the SharePoint Team Lead on the team's performance and potential roadblocks.

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE 

Bachelor's degree and a minimum of seven (5) years’ relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education/experience. 5 years of demonstrated SharePoint Developer experience and 5 years of SQL Server experience.

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS 

Work is primarily performed in an office environment. Regularly required to sit. Regularly required use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms to handle objects and operate tools, computer, and/or controls. Required to speak and hear. Occasionally required to stand, walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.  Exposed to general office noise with computers printers and light traffic.

The estimated pay range for this role is $75K to $100K, with the final offer contingent on location, skillset, and experience.
