The Network Engineer II is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the voice and data network systems. Responsible for the installation and maintenance of network systems, applications, security, and configurations within the physical and virtual network infrastructure. This position uses a thorough knowledge of network processes, concepts, best practices, and network protocols and security.

In-depth knowledge of network protocols and technologies.
Ability to analyze and evaluate networks, identify issues and provide solutions to ensure networks are operating efficiently.
Proficiency in network hardware and software configuration.
Experience in Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential Duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Administers and maintains computer networks and related computing environments.
Coordinates with stakeholders to identify network needs and develop basic network solutions.
Troubleshoots and resolves moderate network issues independently.
Performs disaster recovery operations and data backups when required.
Optimizes configurations to improve performance and efficiency.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience and two to four (2-4) years related experience
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Work is primarily performed in an office environment. Regularly required to sit. Regularly required use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms to handle objects and operate tools, computer, and/or controls. Required to speak and hear. Occasionally required to stand, walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Exposed to general office noise with computers printers and light traffic.

The estimated pay range for this role is $70K to $77K, with the final offer contingent on location, skillset, and experience.
