The Audio-Visual Technician IV is responsible for advanced installation, configuration, operation, disassembly, and troubleshooting audio visual equipment. Coordinates with clients on placement, integration, and ensures functionality of projectors, lighting, microphones, sound mixing, recording and video-conferencing equipment for live events and meetings. Responds to and resolves complex questions and technical issues.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must possess appropriate level of certifications for this position as required by the contract.
- Must be able to obtain a customer clearance for access to facilities, equipment and property.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential Duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Takes a lead role in installing the required equipment as described by the client or organization, ensuring proper placement and integration.
Configures and operates advanced audio-visual equipment to ensure proper functionality and compatibility with the event or meeting requirements.
Performs advanced production editing, routine maintenance, and inventory tracking.
Disassembles and stores audio visual equipment as needed, ensuring proper care and organization.
Ensures that all audio-visual equipment is fully functional before and during events or meetings.
Helps lead tests and checks to verify that projectors, lighting, microphones, sound mixing, recording, and video-conferencing equipment are working properly.
Troubleshoots complex technical issues or malfunctions with audio-visual equipment, promptly resolving problems to minimize disruptions during events or meetings.
Assists with the training of other audio-visual technicians, providing guidance and support in their daily tasks and technical development.
May act as a Team Lead which encompasses training and mentoring junior personnel.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Associates degree and a minimum of five to seven (5-7) years relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education/experience.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Work is primarily performed in an office environment. Regularly required to sit. Regularly required use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms to handle objects and operate tools, computer, and/or controls. Required to speak and hear. Occasionally required to stand, walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Exposed to general office noise with computers printers and light traffic.

The estimated pay range for this role is $60K to $65K, with the final offer contingent on location, skillset, and experience.
