SUMMARY

A Human Resources Specialist III is responsible for managing various aspects of the employee lifecycle within an organization. Their primary responsibilities include developing and implementing HR policies and procedures, conducting interviews and background checks, handling employee relations issues, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations. Additionally, they may be involved in performance management, employee development, and organizational development initiatives.

Must be able to obtain and maintain the required customer clearance for access to systems, facilities, equipment and property.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential Duties and responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

Designs and executes programs to enhance employee satisfaction, motivation, and productivity. Conducts surveys and analyzing feedback to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans. Organizing team-building activities, recognition programs, and wellness initiatives to foster a positive work environment. Collaborates with managers to address employee concern and promote open communication.

Analyzing workforce data to identify skill gaps and develop strategies for attracting, developing and retaining top talent.

Serves as a trusted advisor to managers on HR policies, procedures, and best practices. Assists with employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement plans. Providing guidance on HR-related laws and regulations to ensure compliance and mitigate legal risks.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree and five to seven (5-7) years of relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of education/experience.

Work is primarily performed in an office environment. Regularly required to sit. Regularly required use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms to handle objects and operate tools, computer, and/or controls. Required to speak and hear. Occasionally required to stand, walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.  Exposed to general office noise with computers printers and light traffic.

The estimated pay range for this role is $60K - 90K, with the final offer contingent on location, skillset, and experience.
