Organizational Change Manager

The Organizational Change Manager provides support to the National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Disease (NCIRD).  This important role will be part of a project team and will work to ensure stakeholder readiness by aligning people, processes, and technology pre- and post-implementation.

The candidate must be able to obtain and maintain the required customer clearance for access to systems, facilities, equipment and property.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the required customer clearance for access to systems, facilities, equipment and property.

  • Experience with SAP/4HANA implementations is highly desired or experience with system implementations with a heavy focus on organization readiness.

  • Experience with ERP implementations (SAP,Oracle,etc) is highly desired.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Organizational Development, Organizational Design, Organizational Psychology, Communication, Engineering, or Computer Science, or other equivalent scientific process modeling and technical discipline and a minimum of Seven (7) years’ relevant experience. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

The Operation Change Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to ensure NCIRD and VTrckS awardees have made the necessary organization and process changes to SAP/4HANA, and are able to leverage its new features and functions to streamline VTrckS operations. These activities include:

  • Creating a Change Roadmap and OCM Strategy and Plan, identifying and mapping stakeholders, documenting processes to examine and methods of communications.

  • Creating current/desired state business processes, creating and distributing communications artifacts and defining awardee roles mapped to system functionality. 

  • Conducting business process testing for desired state processes, creating the appropriate stakeholder communications and conducting activities as needed for role and responsibilities changes.

  • Working with awardees to implement desired processes and conducting organizational go-live readiness checks.

  • Providing Go-live and Post Go-live support activities by monitoring process adoption and making the appropriate changes that may be needed.

  • Collaborating on planning with the project team’s preparations for the transition to SAP S/4HANA (aligning with surge support activities as needed).

  • Coordinating with the training team to identify and address specific stakeholder issues and concerns.

  • Providing monthly status updates to the PM by the end of each month and in the format provided by the PM.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Organizational Development, Organizational Design, Organizational Psychology, Communication, Engineering, or Computer Science, or other equivalent scientific process modeling and technical discipline and a minimum of Seven (7) years’ relevant experience.  Experience with ERP implementations (SAP,Oracle,etc) is highly desired.
