Maintenance Technician III - Secret Clearance

The Maintenance Technician III is responsible for managing all facility work requests for customers in Buildings 440 & 442 at SSFB. Processes and tracks work orders, provides updates to customers and the government, and handles furniture requests. Develops and maintains instructional materials for facility issues, ensuring customers have the necessary resources. This full time position is 100% on-site at Schriever SBF.

Must be able to maintain a Secret clearance which requires U.S. Citizenship.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS 

  • Must be able to maintain a Secret clearance which requires U.S. Citizenship. 

  • Associate's degree and a minimum of two (2) years relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education/experience.  

 

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

Essential Duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.  

  • Processes and tracks all facility work requests through Civil Engineering for all customers (including customers not assigned to SSC) who reside in Buildings 440 & 442, SSFB.  

  • Assists the Government with inputting, tracking, and reporting all work orders in the facility work order database. Provide customers with updates as they occur and weekly, whichever occurs first.  

  • Processes furniture requests for repair, reconfiguration, and installation.  

  • Develops and maintains “How To” instructions, step-by-step guides, procedures, and documentation on facility issues for all customers (including customers not assigned to SSC) who reside in Buildings 440 & 442, SSFB. Provides How-To manuals for facility issues annually or as issues change.  

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE 

Associate's degree and a minimum of two (2) years relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education/experience.

May carry up to 25 pounds of weight distances of up to 50 feet at a time, occasionally up to and including 50 pounds of weight distances of 25’ and rarely up to 50 pounds distances of 5’. Occasionally lifts up to 50 pounds of weight from the floor to the waist. This weight will be constituted by the following items, but not limited to them: tools, toolboxes and tool bags, ladders, motors, supplies and equipment.

The estimated pay range for this role is $25.77 to $27.12, with the final offer contingent on location, skillset, and experience.
