SUMMARY 

The Senior Data Engineer shall provide cloud support the IEN enterprise to include Office365, Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, etc.), and other cloud-based platforms.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS  

Secret Clearance Required.

Experience interacting with Army stakeholders supporting similar scope and scale of services is preferred. 

Experience working successfully within a mature shared services-based capability for enterprise-level customers is preferred. 

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  

Essential Duties and responsibilities include the followingOther duties may be assigned. 

 

Provides expertise and analysis in data visualization (specifically Microsoft Power BI), developing and tracking performance metrics, data presentation, translating strategic vision into actionable goals and objectives, and relationship management. 

Develops project and program performance metrics and success criteria. 

Conducts after action data assessments and creating deliverables (plans, reports, briefings, etc.) for executive staff. 

Develops and enhances decision-making dashboards, collecting performance data and producing data visualizations, in Power BI/Power Apps/Power Platform. 

Works with organizational data and project teams to standardize data analysis and management strategies. 

Presents deliverables and visualizations to non-technical audiences. 

Develops and implements data strategies for daily and weekly reports. 

Conducts ad hoc analysis and responding to client request. 

Supports research projects, capability development efforts, and innovation efforts. 

Supports project management, logistics, and communication activities. 

Considers and evaluates user experiences for the team’s portfolio of web and online applications, to include Microsoft products (SharePoint, Power BI, etc.). 

Designs and develops excellent graphic elements that adhere to the language that enhances the user experience. 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE 

Master's degree and a minimum of seven (7) years of relevant work experience, or Bachelor’s degree and ten (10) years of relevant work experience.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.  Exposed to general office noise with computers printers and light traffic.
