SUMMARY

The Audit and Risk Coordinator provides administrative and logistical support to ensure smooth coordination and execution of audits and risk management processes. Organizes audit activities, manages communications between various stakeholders, maintains accurate records, and supports decision-makers with necessary information and documentation.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to obtain and maintain an Interim Secret Clearance, the required customer for access to systems, facilities, equipment and property.

Must possess appropriate level of certifications for this position as required by the contract.   

Understanding of the basic lifecycle of audit processes and risk management practices, even if experience is not directly in audit functions.
Program or Project Analyst/Coordinator experience.
Experience working in a government or federal contractor environment, preferably with knowledge of handling confidential and controlled documents.
 

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential Duties and responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

Organizes and schedules meetings related to audits, including audit entrance and exit conferences, data calls, and information meetings. Assists in coordinating the full lifecycle of audits, from initial scoping through recommendation closure. Manages the scheduling of field visits and ensure all logistics are arranged in coordination with relevant stakeholders.

Serves as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding audit-related inquiries.

Prepares routine reports, drafts standard correspondence, and maintains accurate records of all communications related to audits and risk management. Ensures that all audit documentation is properly organized, stored, and accessible to relevant parties.

Provides administrative support by preparing briefing materials, summarizing key points from meetings, and assisting with follow-up actions. Supports the preparation of reports and recommendations by gathering and organizing relevant data and information. Assists in the drafting of responses to audit findings and recommendations.

Maintains comprehensive electronic filing systems for all audit-related documents, ensuring accuracy and accessibility. Performs routine data entry to update audit tracking systems and ensure all information is current and accurate. Assists in generating regular reports on audit status and progress.

Performs general administrative duties such as managing office supplies, coordinating travel arrangements for audit-related activities, and providing logistical support for audit teams. Assists with the preparation of training materials and presentations related to audit and risk management processes.

Works independently on routine administrative tasks and consults with supervisors or higher-level decision-makers for complex issues or decisions. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities, ensuring that all tasks are completed accurately and on time.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma with four (4) years of experience in administrative support, business administration, or a related field. Administrative or Executive Assistant level proficiency is preferred. No travel is required.

The pay range for this role is $80k-$90k with the final offer amount dependent on location, skillset, and experience.
