SharePoint Project Manager
The SharePoint Project Manager provides professional services for a fine arts museum in Washington, DC. This position ensures that all project goals and objectives are accomplished within the prescribed timeframe, budgetary parameters and to the customer’s satisfaction. The Project Manager provides support on new development projects and application upgrades.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Identifies, manages, mitigates and tracks program and project risks and issues.
Uses knowledge of out-of-the-box features and capabilities available on various SharePoint platforms (SharePoint Server 2010/2013/2016 and Office 365/SharePoint Online).
Develops data visualizations and reports using Microsoft reporting platforms (SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and Power BI Report Server), SQL, Visual Studio and other relevant tools.
Writes technical documentation for developed solutions which covers topics such as solution installation, configuration, support, etc.
Manages program and project schedules for application changes.
Creates or updates SharePoint documents associated with projects.
Manages change request logs and change control boards.
Manages program and project action items for application changes.
Manages agendas and minutes for program and project meetings.
Prepares and presents technical presentations associated with projects.
Provides support in identification and updates to policies, processes, and procedures as changes occur.
Creates and tracks change requests.
Prepares monthly and quarterly status reporting of program and projects.
Prepares data calls pertaining to program, project or security.
Tracks project milestones and deliverables.
Implements industry best practices, project management tools and methodologies.
Develop requirements, and testing criteria for requirements.
Develops a project budget based on requirements. Develops market analysis of technical specifications and prepares alternative budgets. Develops Business Process analysis related to new technology.
Responsible for aiding in own self-development by being available and receptive to all training made available by the company.
Plans daily activities within the guidelines of company policy, job description and supervisor’s instruction in such a way as to maximize personal output.
Responsible for keeping own immediate work area in a neat and orderly condition to ensure safety of self and coworkers. Will report any unsafe conditions and/or practices to the appropriate supervisor and human resources. Will immediately correct any unsafe conditions to the best of own ability.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of three (3) years project management experience, or equivalent combination of education / experience. Two years of experience working with SharePoint. Experience working in a museum, educational or cultural institution preferred.
