Headquartered in Norman, OK, Chickasaw Defense Logistics, LLC (CDL) delivers deep subject matter expertise coupled with long-term, sustainable defense logistics solutions that accelerate readiness and enhance the American Warfighter’s operational capabilities. CDL is an SBA-certified 8(a) Small Disadvantaged Business that is focused on providing innovative, customer centered solutions in support of defense logistics operations at echelons above battalions.

Jim Green, General Manager

As an accomplished leader in private industry, Jim Green brings a unique mix of business skills thus imparting a healthy balance of innovative and conventional methodologies to managing government contracts.  Prior to accepting the LLC Manager position, for a decade plus Jim served in a multiple of leadership roles with both a Fortune 50 pharmaceutical company and an emerging multinational medical device firm. He holds a MBA degree from Oklahoma City University and a MS in Learning & Organizational Change degree from Northwestern University at Evanston, IL. Jim is also a proud member of the Chickasaw Nation.

Contracting Vehicles

CNI, as a Federally Recognized Tribal Entity, brings to bear several contracting advantages.  The US Government has a unique opportunity to contract complex requirements on a single source basis to SBA-approved 8(a) entities without J&A up to $22M.  This advantage provides accelerated contracting cycles and promotes an increased level of collaboration between the Government customer and CNI regarding requirements definition and solution development.  This has proven to be beneficial in bringing solutions to the Army Industrial Bases and for supporting the Department of Defense key initiative of accelerating the military’s operational readiness levels.

Subcontracting with CNI Advantage also provides a unique opportunity for Prime Contractors.  In accordance with FAR 19.703 and 43 U.S.C. 1626, tribally owned entities always contribute to the Prime Contractor’s small business credit regardless of business size when acting as a subcontractor.
