ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Responsible for the integration of CNI Core Competencies into daily functions, including: commitment to integrity, knowledge / quality of work, supporting financial goals of the company, initiative / motivation, cooperation / relationships, problem analysis / discretion, accomplishing goals through organization, positive oral / written communication skills, leadership abilities, commitment to Affirmative Action, reliability / dependability, flexibility and ownership / accountability of actions taken.
Consults with primary stakeholders, senior management, and other stakeholders regarding program planning.
Assists users and senior management in conducting user needs analysis and designs and develops database integration solutions and user interfaces.
Monitors, analyzes, and optimizes website and application performance.
Provides software and web development services, which may include defining requirements, software/web design, construction, testing, maintenance tasks, and database construction.
Performs web-based GUI development, maintenance, functional enhancement, and bug fixing.
Performs process automation and dashboard development as required by customer leadership.
Performs basic database development tasks such as manipulating data, implementing joined queries for reports, importing/exporting data by SQL and PL/SQL, and building functions in stored procedures.
Coordinates with senior technical staff to design, establish and maintain web applications in a 24x7 environment, to support government software platforms and resolve front-end technical issues with team members in web environments/applications.
Coordinates with senior technical staff to implement new technical skills on existing application to meet new requirements.
Collaborates with Technical Working Group and Configuration Control Board to improve database and web-based applications.
Streamlines and automates functions to include messaging, data transmission, and database interfaces.
Implements web and database tasks, and efficiently identifies and resolves the problems with GUI for user technical difficulties.
Responsible for aiding in own self-development by being available and receptive to all training made available by the company.
Plans daily activities within the guidelines of company policy, job description and supervisor’s instruction in such a way as to maximize personal output.
Responsible for keeping own immediate work area in a neat and orderly condition to ensure safety of self and coworkers. Will report any unsafe conditions and/or practices to the appropriate supervisor and human resources. Will immediately correct any unsafe conditions to the best of own ability.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATION
Must possess or be able to obtain a Government Secret Security clearance
A current CompTIA Security + certification is required with enrollment into the CE program
MCSD or similar certification preferred

Knowledge of technical area and testing to assess interrelated requirements and impacts
Knowledge of non-technical aspects of project development, (e.g. procurement policies, preparation of work statements, preparation of development plans, and cost evaluations)
Knowledge and understanding of a variety of concepts, practices and procedures related to Website applications, Web page design and graphic design techniques
Working knowledge and understanding of federal regulations and policies related to Web design layout
Ability to analyze and develop complex design objectives
Excellent computer skills with demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Windows / Office

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
