The Business Analyst provides systems focused analytical and technical support for the Air Force Security Forces Center (AFSFC). The position reviews, analyzes, and evaluates the requirements for IT system security techniques and system support plans. Additionally, the position provides requisite technical expertise in the implementation of security standards and guidelines as outlined in the National Security Agency (NSA), Department of Defense (DOD), and Air Force (AF) instructions, manuals and policies regarding establishing new requirements to replace a twenty (20) year old application.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Creates comprehensive requirements documents outlining the necessities for an automated web-based application for use primarily by Security Forces.
Manages and organizes resources and personnel required to efficiently and effectively meet the objectives of each task.
Reviews and assesses technical problems and technical solutions in order to develop and discuss alternative strategies.
Provides technical recommendations on the formation and implementation of plans to manage and reduce program/project risks identified.
Provides technical expertise to the AFSFC PMO in accordance with the Systems Engineering Process (SEP) and provides system-engineering functions to evaluate the scope, schedule, and design to meet AF and manufacturer end of-life mandates.
Performs analysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements, and translation into proper system requirement specifications.
Demonstrates flexibility to support emerging program needs and priorities.
Serves as lead analyst when directed.
Responsible for aiding in own self-development by being available and receptive to all training made available by the company.
Plans daily activities within the guidelines of company policy, job description and supervisor’s instruction in such a way as to maximize personal output.
Responsible for keeping own immediate work area in a neat and orderly condition to ensure safety of self and coworkers. Will report any unsafe conditions and/or practices to the appropriate supervisor and human resources. Will immediately correct any unsafe conditions to the best of own ability.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Associates degree and a minimum two (2) years related experience or an equivalent combination of education / experience. Specialized experience includes working with security forces and developing requirement or similar programs.
CERTIFICATES / LICENSES / REGISTRATION
Ability to obtain government security clearance
U.S. Citizens / Green Card Holders only due to government or federal requirement
